We need a coach that can stay healthy too. This is no good. Much love for Lucas, but we need to move on and get someone who can do their job and is not always sick\out. I know that may have sounded a little harsh, but for real. Can we get someone in there that wont miss half the season, every season?
QFT. I wish Luc' the best and I want him healthy and involved with the team ASAP, but this whole "out of respect for Luc' we won't be hiring a replacement for him any time soon" thing is silly. Bring in a big man/player development coach or an X's/O's guy. I hate that we're leaving an empty seat on the coaching staff when we could add someone for the betterment of the team. I can't see Lucas coming back any time soon, and we're just prolonging the inevitable by not hiring anyone right now to take his spot.
Man that isn't good, if he's already out of remission a mere 7 months post surgery ... well, let's just say I wish him well and hope for the best.
