I was a little skeptical about this guy however he's proven everything to me- Can take over games- Play well in the playoffsAll he needs is to play defense and he'll probably be the GOAT.
Even after his defense, he has to prove to be a winner and can win a championship, and be more of a leader. Your career is based on individual performance and championships. I guarentee you if you made a top 10 all time, all 10 would have at least 1 championship. If he can keep this up for 6-7 more years and wina t least 1 championship, he will be GOAT. Right now he has the potential to average 32-35/7-8/7-8 for the next 9-10 years, to win MVP in each of those years, and win as many championships as he wants. He has that kind of potential.
If he can continue his steady pattern of getting better, the championships will come.Defense is a key factor because that's half of the game.
Lebron is the best player in the league in my opinion. I don't know anything about his defense but he does get steals. And I hate judging players by championships. As long as they don't choke in the playoffs it's all good. Great players shouldn't be judged by championships because some of the best players get unlucky and are put on bad teams or average ones. I mean, leading your team to a championship is awesome but I don't think it's really a fair way to judge players.

You can say Ben Wallace is one of the greatest defenders of all time, but he will never ben mentioned in top 50 all time. On the flip side, magic Johnson never played D and is considered top 5 all time.

Ben Wallace has won a championship and DPOY while Magic never won a scoring title....yet Big Ben will never be a top 50 player all time. Magic will always be top 10. On offense an individual player can prove he can take a player one on one, split double teams, take over in clutch, score over 50 points, get over 10 assists, not average 4 TO's per game, take over a game, etc... On defense, usually player can only play either team or one on one offense, and can only steal or block. There just aren't many facets to defense like there are to offense.
And that is as impressive as Magic's defense. Bottom line is a great offensive player will always be considered more important and overall better than a great defender.

Lebron has nothing on him.

But, to be fair, MJ was never the passer Bron is, and never led such a bad team to a record as good as Bron has gotten Cavs.
The real test (assuming they get past the Wizards, which I expect them to) is gonna be against Detroit. How will Lebron fare against Tayshaun? I really have no clue, but you never know with Lebron, he can drop a triple double with 30 on anyone in the league.
I feel Tayshaun won't be a problem, but the Pistons collapsing on him and stopping him as a team like they did with Kobe a few years ago will be the problem. The big question for the Cavs is when Bron has to kick it out, can the other players beat the Pistons and knock down the shots?
I think he has a shot at it. I think he'll end up being probably the greatest offensive player ever. He might even average a triple-double sooner or later.
You guys are overatting Lebron over one game. Let's see the whole series first.I'll admit he had a damn good game, but that says it all. He had A good game. So let's see if he can continue. On the subject, what was up with Larry Hughes?
Probably just a cold night. He'll probably be back on track.Washington better up their game if they wanna win.
