It's sorta like "that" but it means "over here"

It means he doesn't have to change what you wrote, he would have said the same thing.

I mostly enjoy being on here during a game. It's fun to discuss and enjoy the game with fans, rather than watch by myself and scream at the TV.

So many threads and wondering which one would be best suited for this, so I'm putting it here.

Oden is the man and he has now earned my "Most favorite player" label. Why? The dude is all class. Whenever there is any question about him or Pryzbilla, he refers to both of them as the centers of the team. In fact, even though he wants to start, which he rightfully is earning now, he has said that if Pryzbilla ever started it wouldn't change a thing. Also, during the interview on NBA.com TV, he praised his team first, then talked about if there is something "I" need to work on, when questioned about the inside scoring.

Also, I loved how he expressed that he wants to help this team score easy buckets, saying maybe 10 points a game to make it easier for Roy and Aldridge to score.

I gotta say HE IS DA MAN!

Great post Mags... as are most of yours.

I agree... Oden is a force. Going through the adversity he has... I couldn't be happier for him. Every night someone can step up and change the game... and Oden is bringing more of an offensive game sooner than I think anyone expected. And yeah... we are still one of the youngest teams in the NBA.

It is a great day to be a Blazer!

The nicest thing to do when looking at the Oden situation, is to think that we have a 54 win team that traded a nice backup Center (Greg Oden, last year) for a defensive monster, #1 pick center who is quickly improving on offense.

That should be scary for the rest of the league, right there.

Now when my boy G.O. has a 8 point/ 9 rebound night later this week, don't jump off that bandwagon like the rest of these fools!

Oden is still a year or two away from being the player he will be.

Though I will say the times he has put the ball on the floor and driven to the hoop are pretty jaw dropping.

That fast break he lead was stupid.

That three point play he got jobbed out of against the Bulls was awesome.

When he really gets comfortable out there and decides he can't be stopped I am kind of thinking he won't be far wrong.

If that happens and the team wins I don't care.

If that happens and Oden doesn't touch the ball much then I will be pissed, just not at Oden.

The paint is where the wins are. The team should go there whenever possible.

One of my favorite Mac Court chants from the 70s:

    "We got a rope!"
    "We got a tree!"
"Now all we need is the referee!"

Yeah, I think Oden in a few years will be the same as he was last night, just consistently this good.

I'm guessing that Del Negro is looking for a 'T'. Which, looking at the photo, is probably a legitimate gripe. Not saying it is a 'T'; not saying isn't, either.

Naw, I won't. I like watching personalities. He had probably one of his best games of his career and acted humble and praised the team first. For that, the dude is my favorite Blazer now. In fact, I think if Nate keeps loosening the rope on him, the offensive sky is the limit!
