Re: Roy Absent during National Anthem Funny thing about patriotism is that it means: devoted love, support, and defense of one's country; national loyalty. Nowhere in that definition does it say "taking a minute to myself during the national anthem" means your not patriotic. Just because what someone does does not fall into your definition of "being patriotic" does not make them unpatriotic. Attacking someone on a topic like this, over something thats in my opinion trivial, over whether they love there country or not is just plain stupid.

A little insinuation here, a little vague "just doesn't feel right" there, and he's brought out the worst imaginings by some portion of Blazer fans. I totally get the backstage moment of reflection, but this is easy pickings for a little shit-stirring among the holier-than-thou crowd. I wonder if he's been holding on to this, waiting until there was a Roy backlash, or if he just started looking for stuff like this after the backlash had already begun?

So yes, I want to know about things such as this. I will say Roy should know he is a public figure and what he does (especially in a Blazer uniform) is fair game for the media. You think the media should not report this?
