Re: Roy Absent during National Anthem Here's what gets me: I'm pretty damn sure B-Roy is a conservative. Why else would he not vote until compelled by his family? He was obviously conflicted about not wanting to vote for Obama because he was conservative, but wanting to because he was an historic candidate (or "his people" if you prefer). That subtext seemed pretty obvious to me from the beginning. Many of the guys on the team are pretty devout guys, especially LMA and B-Roy. If Roy wants a moment with God, who the fuck is Canzano to nervously giggle and imply he's unpatriotic?

Re: Roy Absent during National Anthem Yeah, this is why going to the tunnel or whatever doesn't bother me, either: there are lots more common ways everybody in the arena is disrespectful, from a strict POV. Mildly off-topic, I kinda get that way about flags. I never say anything to anyone about it, but folks getting it out for the 4th or Flag Day or whatnot and then not knowing how to take care of it kinda bothers me. Not too much, though, since you know they weren't ever in and didn't learn.
