That's what they said about Chicago too, after they were ripped for being soft and playing without passion. How did that turn out?

I watched part of the Nets game last night. Their body language was bad. Effort was bad. Heads hanging after every play. Looks of dejection. If this team does not get a win in Sacramento on Friday, they may not win one until 25+ games into the season.

It's going to be good for them. The youngsters need to be humbled. The fans need this, so they can figure out their GM is a piece of shit and should be fired. Also, they have a great chance to "rebuild" in the draft and take a page from Seattle, Portland and old Chicago years before. Rebuild the foundation and make it strong, then build your empire on that. I wish them the best.

No I'm excited that the Blazers are gonna kill the Nets. Ya know, optimism? I think the Blazers can win every game.

Accuscore has Portland winning the game with a 87% chance.
New Jersey had Vince Carter last year whose no longer on the team. Bobby Simmons scored 14 points on us last year in march but right now he has been struggling in his last 5 games with an average of 3.8 ppg.
Lopez has a tweaked ankle only mustering just five points on 1 for 4 shooting in 27 minutes Tuesday against Denver.
PG Devin Harris has been having two decent games lately after coming back from a groin injury. We will have to contain him I think.

Last season, they had Carter and Oden was very slow and still injured. Let's see how it goes this time, without Carter and a much revamped and energized "Oden".

theres no excuse losing to a winless team in the rose garden. where we lost under 10 games last year. no excuses. anything less then a 10 point win is concerning.

You're wrong. Batum gives Portland nothing offensively. Remember? :)

Don't forget Blakes 3pointer at the 2:41 mark in the 4th that gave us the lead.

That was the one game I was able to attend last year. It was actually quite dull in the first half, except for all the blocked shots. Hopefully this one will be more entertaining.

As for the question in this thread... every game concerns me. This is the NBA. Any team can beat any team on any given night.
