    Point one - I ran across this today, and had forgotten completely about it: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/huskies/2002829451_umen26.html . Brandon's dad was in the Marines in Camp Pendleton when Brandon was born in San Diego. The family moved back to Seattle when the dad got shipped off overseas later. Whatever secret conspiracy protest you want to ascribe, anti-military isn't likely it.

    Point two - I'm a vet and I'd like to remind everyone that the national anthem is not about the military in particular, it's the *national* anthem. That said, sit, stand, or do whatever you want. I don't personally care (just don't try and salute if you don't know how).

    Point three - most important, how the hell has no one posted this?
