It really shows the competitive nature of the Buss family and that they'll do anything possible to help this team win. Winning is the #1 priority to them, and nothing else matters. I hope Jim Buss has success when he takes over in the future. I know a lot of Laker fans hated him during the Kobe fiasco (apparently he wanted Kobe traded, if I remember correctly), but everybody makes mistakes. It's also kind of hard to blame him given the circumstances of the time, since it didn't seem like we were going anywhere. Also, don't forget that Jim Buss was also the guy who pushed hard for Bynum when Phil and Mitch wanted us to take Sean May. What a disaster that would've been. And as the article mentions, Jim was the one who pushed the hardest for Ron Artest.
