Obviously if you interview people, no matter of party affiliation, you will get some of these. But this really reminds me of the 9.12 video that was an absolute embarrassment to educated Americans. I wonder how many of these people watch Fox News, and use that to form what they think. They can't describe what they don't like about Obama (other than spending and socialism/marxism/communism/muslim/kenyan) and can't say what they specifically like about Palin (policy wise). If you haven't seen the 9.12 rally interviews, then here you go. The Czars part makes me laugh every time. That is where you know these people are brainwashed.
I can't believe the attention she is getting. IMO any one who goes to these book signings is plain dumb.
Well, IMHO, she was woefully inept as a VP candidate, but still as a person on a presidential ticket I'd love to meet her sometime. I mean, I'd like to meet Carter, Clinton, Bush or Obama as well despite the fact they were (are) poor presidents.
So many people are morons when it comes to politics. Now I'll be honest and say that I'm no amazing political mastermind either, but at least I don't pretend to be. And I wonder how many of those interviewed voted for Obama. It's amazing how many people immediately go from supporting a candidate to wishing he never got elected. As for Palin, I felt like she was completely inept after I watched her interview with Katie Couric. Perhaps that's a bit near-sided, but her answers to most of the questions were pathetic, especially the foreign policy experience question.
I thought Clinton was a really good president! And for Obama, he has only been in office for 10 months. Hard to judge right now. IMO you gotta finish a term and see where the country is at that time.
I'm Libertarian but I liked the financial surplus we enjoyed during the Clinton years. Quite a rare accomplishment these days for a president.
Heaven forbid these people might go out and exercise their right to vote. Call 'em tea baggers some more and they'll be even more motivated to vote.
She's not qualified to to do anything with politics, let alone write books, etc. I've said it before and here it is again, if she's on the republican ticket, I'll volunteer my time to the democratic party.
Lord, I hope so. Teabaggers, teabaggers, teabaggers... please destroy what's left of the republican party, teabaggers. Thanks, teabaggers. barfo
Did she have a co-writer? Someone who interviewed her, wrote the whole thing, and then she edited it? Someone who did 95% of the work?
I've seen the 9/12 interviews before, I think they were slightly more amusing than the Palin book signing. The one thing that just kills me is the Czars. I'm sure that Russian history is glossed over to the extreme now in schools but I'm just having this big dis-connect in my mind that so many people could be completely unaware of what a czar is and how they are different here. As others have said, I'm sure there are people who are as uneducated or worse as Dems. I just wish we could get them all to take a few classes.
Not only the fact that Czars, as a nickname, have been used for close to 40 years now, but "Czar" (or "Tsar") is PRE Communism.
They say that when Democrats form a firing squad, it's in the shape of a circle. I'm not at all saying these people are going to come out and vote for Palin, but they will come out and vote for whoever is the nominee. My read is that putting down people like this is what got W elected the 2nd time.
I know..I know!!! It's like, look, if you're going to label him a fascist socialist communist leninist nazi at least don't associate him with czars who would be the last people to allow communist rule...ugh..
