Based on adjusted +/- Oden is much better than Durant. Durant is just a PER machine.

I know, it's killing me. If Nate would let him play more he would cement himself as a serious All-Star candidate in the eyes of the media. That would give him a star perception, which would in turn get the refs to consciously (via Stern) or unconsciously give greg the benefit of the doubt which would then reduce his fouls. That's a positive feedback loop we want to get into. Nate will figure it out, or KP will figure it out for him. Or maybe even Paul Allen will.

To continue with the Beatles theme: if GO gets into that aforementioned loop he might be rocking like 8 days a week!

Wait, indeed. He made more field goals than any other Blazers and yet only played 25 minutes. Unless he's asking out of the game, it's the coach's fault he only got 25 minutes.

The point is he is getting enough shots. They all are. The Blazers have a nice balanced offense right now. So I 'm not sure Nate is clueless on how to utilize him. What I don't want to see is the offense running through him MORE. Again i like the balance.

I wouldn't worry about his minutes. They will be up around 30 per game in no time. Of course if he gets hurt it will be Nate's fault for over playing him.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
He's getting enough shots per minute. He's just not getting enough minutes. I wouldn't say McMillan is "clueless," but I certainly disagree with his minutes-management for Oden.

Greg has the best PER on the team. He shoots the highest %, by far. Unless Greg is getting more shpts and minutes than everyrone else, he is not getting enough of either.

I think Oden will always win the PER battle between the two. Durant will win scoring titles though.

But Greg will win titles! I love Durant, but he is the second coming of Dominique Wilkins. Lots of individual accomplishments, no rings!

Eh, I don't know..... Durant could be a Kevin Garnett. I think that team has a lot of talent though. Also, Bill Simmons said that OKC could potentially offer LeBron a max deal this summer. How crazy would that team with LeBron?

But if you're LeBron, I think thats the most talented team he could join.... other than maybe Miami.
