How about Charlie's 48 point game? Thats the ebst effort by a rookie since AI in '96. I know that was one of the most memorable moments for me as a Raptor fan.

How about the Sixers win in a 3OT thriller against the Celtics? Paul Piere's game winners.

Re: Memorable moments of the '05-'06 season

Im going with Paul's triple double against Golden State. To grab a triple double as a rookie is amazing but to get one when your a 6'0 rookie is phenominal. His numbers were amazing. If I remember correctly he had 17 points, 16 assists, 10 rebounds and 6 steals.6 steals? This kid is amazing.Villanueva's 48 points is amazing but not as impressive. Do you guys remember who was guarding Villanueva? Andrew Bogut.Hes not quick or versatile enough to guard Charlie V. Im sure he had a field day out there.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Also the Suns-Sonics game where that went into double OT and the teams combined for over 300 points. Thats the game Ray Allen hit the long 3 pointer at the buzzer

Yeah, that must have hurt Suns fans so bad, I mean, really, that just went by so quick you'd wish you can go back in time and change what happened.

As a Lakers fan, I have to bring up the altercation with Bynum and Shaq, and Turiaf returning from heart surgery.

Oh yeah Ballahollic, 48 points is an easy thing to do for a rookie.

Did I say that? No.48 points is great but to get a triple double with numbers like 16 assists and 6 steals is amazing.

But Villanueva's 48 point game should still be considered one of the top performances this season.

You tried to downplay it. I dont know why. It would still be a great performance for any big man, especially a rookie.

Re: Memorable moments of the '05-'06 season

It was one of the better individual performances, but definately not one of the most memorable. My most memorable:-Kobe's 81 point game-Kobe's 62 in 3 quarters-AI's over the head alley oop to Iggy (you can find it in media section)-VC's dunk over Zo-Wade vs. LeBron-Bynum vs. Shaq-The scoring race-Bron's 35 in 9 straight games-Celtics vs. Sixers, 3OT game-Seattle vs. Phoenix, highest scoring game in like 10 years-Emergence of Chris Paul-T-Mac's performance at ASG-Nets winning 14 straight

I know this wasn't during the season, but the Hurricane Relief Game before the season was great because of it's purpose and what it did for the displaced families.
