I noticed that Bob Fitzgerald was out yesterday's game and tonight's game. I like Tim Roye as the play-by-play on TV more. Dave Fleming did a good job on the radio, but he failed to report the score on many plays. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Basketball is a much more frenetic sport to cover than baseball and I think he did great given the circumstances (what are they?).
Fitz is sick. It was actually quite noticeable during the Portland game that he was more nasal-ey than usual. And yeah, Roye is a boss. Caught a little Flem on the radio too and he was doing alright. I heard he called some college basketball sometime before.
I like Tim Roye more than Fitz too, but he'll be back soon. I'd rather have Greg Papa call the games though.
Loved Papa, but if you want to go old school I loved Bill King. That guy was the best, "Barry makes him paint the ceiling and Barry goes right around him...."
