Wow this is BIG. I loved AI as a Sixer. I'd seriously be elated if he returned to Philly to finish off his career. This is a guy who can still score the basketball and bring excitement for the city. As the article mentions, the Sixers are second to last in the NBA in attendance (which is pathetic considering how big of a metropolitan Philly is, and how passionate the fans are), and to put it bluntly, probably the most boring team in the NBA. There is just no excitement. Bringing back AI will generate some buzz for the city and help put more butts in the seats. Man, I seriously cannot wait for this to happen, I want this to happen sooooooooooo bad. As already stated in the article, the Sixers have nothing to lose.

    Sixer for life.

    Bring back the little dude!

    PG: Iverson
    SG: Iguodala
    SF: Young
    PF: Brand
    C: Dalembert

    bench: Speights, Williams, Kapono

Not bad on paper, too bad Eddie Jordan is coach.

Ok, so he gives up on the team a few years ago and now he wants back?

    If I'm a 76ers fan I might feel funny about A.I.'s return.

What a classy move by the 76ers this would be, and a fitting place for AI to end his career.

There's going to be mixed reactions, but I'd feel excited.

My opinion on AI has really soured these last couple of years, but you can't take away everything he brought to the Sixers and the city of Philadelphia. I'd love to see him back, maybe for a one year deal to finish off his career where he started. I mean, what's there to lose? The Sixers have the second worst attendance in the league, and it's not like the team is going anywhere anytime soon. Bring back Iverson one more year to sell some tickets and generate some buzz for the team.
