He really hasn't worked since the Brandon Roy draft. He sat on RLEC and has done nothing to really improve the team since the Oden draft.

Miller was plan-D and was a move out of desperation. Since this move couldn't be done during the draft he was like a chicken with it's head cut off.

Sit back and watch European games to see if those guys are developing and watch a Blazer game courtside. You really don't have to be proactive in trades since Blake/Outlaw/Martell/etc. are his horses and he's going to stick with his boys.

    Ahh, to be KP.

It's tough making Jason Quick smile. Best way is to tell him that you need more time to decide on anything he asks. /sarcasm

People think I'm serious, so I better put in that /s.

Ah, the perennial "Who will that guy who is such a good trader trade next?" thread. Deja vu.

Waiting for a trade is like watching your cake bake. Water doesn't boil till you walk away for awhile.

I hate to make 3 posts in a row here, but we blame Nate too much for having to deal with the hand Pritchard has dealt him. Pritchard refuses to clean up his messy roster, making it easier for McMillan to make it even messier. Yet we blame only McMillan. I dropped this signature after my posts on Nov. 7:
    ----------
When you criticize McMillan for his programmed substitutions, remember why he feels impelled to do this. Pritchard has not made consolidation trades. McMillan must develop about 10 young guys with potential, and that takes playing time for each. He objects every time yet another youngster is forced upon him, most recently Mills over Udoka.

wasting RLEC was one of the worst mistakes he ever could have made. what a waste of an enormous opportunity.

Trade Bob is this really you?

I do agree that KP deserves some of the blame for where this team is at.

I don't buy this completely. McMillan isn't developing young guy Joel Pryzbilla, so he doesn't need to take Oden out to get Joel time. He isn't developing Blake, so starting Blake no matter what isn't required. He isn't developing Juwan Howard, so playing Juwan and not Dante the first 15 games or so wasn't development.

I do see that Nate prefers vets and plays them whenever he can. But that's not very useful since the young guys on this team are better than the vets.

There's clear logic there. I don't know why you can't see it.

Blake is younger than Miller, hence, develop. Joel looks younger than Greg, hence, develop. Dante is unlucky as he's a rookie.

Uh no, this is BobWhitsittsGhost, BobWhitsittBestGM, Mensa1, Herb_the_Crusher, FerociousRooster, and about 18 other lesser used names I kept in reserve for when I got banned on ESPN.

    Never knew the reason, ever.
