Danny says the guy he is looking for is suppoed to go around 12-13, so we could get him later. I say we trade Brian Scalabrine and our #6 or 7 pick to New Orleans for Arvydas Majisekivus ( i honestly have NO clue how to spell it, too lazy to look it up) and their #12 and 15 picks. With those two picks, we select Marcus Williams of UConn and Saer Sene of Senegal. He is a big project but he could end up being great. If not Sene, maybe Splitter slips.

I'd like to keep the pick, right now we could get a top 6-7 pick....like an 8% chance of the 1st pick..lol. but I would love a player like rudy gay or another athlete or shooter to complement gerald green for the future.

You draft PG or C, period, nothing else. Tiago Splitter is not going into this draft.

BCB we have two young point guards already that are decent in D West and Orien Greene. Also the C's have had Tony Allen playing point guard some nights. I'd like to see us pick up a FA point guard....a Speedy Claxton or Brevin Knight type of player. If we draft Rajon Rondo I think it would be a waste, he's almost the exact same player as Orien Greene

I don't think we can trade Scalabrine even in that deal, but I don't know maybe they'd take him to move up.

I think it would make sense for them to trade down. This draft class is pretty weak. So the level of player from a high lottery pick to a lower one will barely change imo. So getting that extra pick out of the deal would help them out.

With the current roster in front of you, who would you pick if you ended up with the first overall pick in the draft??

most likely LaMarcus Aldridge. He has Center eligability, and star potential. He's also a great compliment for Al. Good midrange game. But if the Cs actually got it, it would likely be used as trade bait for an all-star caliber player (cough * JO* cough).
