Seems he's playing little and could be traded, he's a vet PF/C that can still play and is only 29 so he's not a dinosaur like Howard. He's a good get now and especially if Joel might opt out this summer. These are the kind of trades IMO we should be looking at. They have 6 mil in capspace, offer Outlaw and a 2nd rd pick for for Collison. His contract has one more tr after this.
I think your missing the point of Howard. Howard was mostly brought on to be more like a player coach IMO. If the front line guys can glean some experience from him, all the better.
No point missed, you missed mine. We need to bring in a better vet backup PF/C, Collison qualifies. I like Dante but he's tweener PF/SF, not a PF/C, and he's a ways away.
he'd cost too much. plus, i think Freeland, Pendergraph, Cunningham are intriguing prospects at that spot. Though, i think JP and Freeland will see a lot of time backing up Greg.
Walton looks 4 inches taller than the 6-10 McHale and 2 inches taller than 7-0 Parish and Kite. It was said at UCLA that he didn't want to be listed as a 7 footer because he was a little shy. Jabbar also always looked taller than his NBA listed 7-2 (as a Bruin he was listed at 7-1).
A "little shy"? Walton admits in his autobiography that he was a stutterer at that point in his life. Massive doses of speech therapy gave us the Walton of today. He clearly had self-confidence, yet he did not have the tools to express his opinions.
