I throw the bullshit flag on this one. Despite what he wants to say, he's a cheap prick.

I hope he tries at least. Should make the battle of LA more interesting. Imagine NBA West finals Clippers - Lakers? Every game is a home game.

The Clippers won't be a playoff team with this current roster. There's very little chemistry on this team, and that's a very big part of winning. I don't care how talented they are if they can't coexist on the court. They should blow the roster up and rebuild around Griffin and Gordon. Too bad they overpaid Mr. Ballhog, Baron Davis, and he's got a contract that no one in the right mind would touch.

The quote just oozes Dan Snyder. I know he's trying to make a statement to his fanbase that he's not as cheap as his reputation suggests, but waiting for that "one great signing" is just foolish. The NBA's salary cap makes it so that almost any big-money player will return to their team. The real way to become as good as the Lakers involves drafting your own superstars and then waiting for Memphis to throw you a bone.
