Why don't you read my OP and then talk about objectivity. I was only making a joke about Blake.

And why do you always bring up Miller every time I post about Blake? I didn't even mention Miller. No matter how Miller plays, that doesn't take away from the fact that Blake sucks.

I guess I missed the joke. :dunno:

You probably don't realize it, but you outted yourself ... again.

Also, why did you make a separate post about BLANKY in a thread that had nothing to do with him? A thread that you started, even.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
"BLANKY" is the best nickname ever. I wish he were a dominant player, so that the whole nation could be introduced to that nickname.

Sadly, it wasn't me who came up with that name. I can't remember who it was, but it's brilliant.

Miller's assists go to .5 more per game when given the same minutes as Blake. Everyone should take a moment and read that again. Steve Blake plays more minutes than Andre Miller. What in the fuck!!!!!

The humorous part is there wouldn't even be a Miller/Blake debate if McMillan could wrap his head around starting his five best players for the betterment of the team as a whole. You would see a lot, and I cannot stress that enough, less sarcasm and bitterness towards Steve if he was being played in a role that best optimized his talents.

    There is no Blake/Miller debate.

    There's the PapaG/Natebishop debate.

    It's much more fun apparently.

I think it is more of a PapaG versus Moderator debate.

Maybe PapaG is really Nate McMillan?

If so, you are an assclown Papa. If you are not Mr. Sonic, please disregard this post.

Blazers are 5-5 with Blake as the starting PG

Blazers are 7-2 with Miller as the starting PG despite Blake pushing Roy out of his natural SG position.

Nate still prefers Blake. Don't ask me why.

And the question still remains, how would the team play if Roy and Miller started with a true SF playing with them. The lineup was only used twice in the pre season, and has never been used in the regular season. Nate says he has tried it, but he hasn't tried it. Not like it should really look.

My gravest concern is Oden not resigning with us this summer. Anyone else worried about that? I would MUCH rather have Oden then Roy if forced to choose. Roy is great, but his "hail to the king" rhetoric is getting a tad old. PER at 19 comparing himself to PER 30 players? He's still living in the 2008/09 season. I believe Roy CAN be as good as LBJ and Kobe, he just needs to prove it on the court and play REAL defense for 48 minutes.

My fondest hope is Roy and Oden gaining incredible chemistry. Lord let it be so!

Roy and Bryant had the same PER last year. Say Roy is living in the past if you must, but the fact is he was 7th in the NBA in PER last season. Criticizing a player is one thing; flat out making things up to explain your criticism is quite another. If you don't like having an elite talent on the team, just say it. But this passive-aggressive BS with Roy is getting very old. He shoots too much! He isn't shooting enough! He's coasting!

You people need to make up your minds.

Awesome name, referring at once to his contributions on the court and of being Nate's security blanky. Classic.

We all have one big opinion. We do need to make up our minds to reduce the hypocrisy.

    We'll work on that.
