Re: NBA's all time best from each position Joe dumars top 3 SG? I know he was one heck of a defender but top 3?edit: Dogma, how the hell did you forget hakeem? Hakeem's offensive game owned Russel's and both played amazing defense. Russell was lucky he played in the era he did.
Re: NBA's all time best from each position C- ShaqF- Tim DuncanF- Larry BirdG- Micheal JordanG- Magic JohnsonSpots 1-3 is pretty much a no-brainer. The Power Forward slot can be argued, but Tim Duncan is the only one who has led his team to the Championship. That is what seperates him from Karl Malone IMO. Shaq is the best postseason player of alltime and that is where legends are made. That's my reasoing for him as numero uno. The only player other than the GOAT to get 3 consecutive Finals MVP.

Re: NBA's all time best from each position Oscar Robertson played PG 90% of the time while he was in the NBA, I don't know why the hell half of you are putting him at SG and SF. He did play some SG but not hardly enough to be considered one.

Shaq dominated a much tougher and more atheltic NBA for 10 straight years, and still goign strong.
