Our offense is playing like shit and we still have a 12-7 record. Just think when the offense clicks? I feel sorry for the rest of the league. I think most the other teams and fans Thank God everyday that Nate is our coach. They at least know they can steal a few wins from us on Nate's lack of change.
Just an FYI Portland has played the 3rd easiest schedule in the league so far, and is two games behind where they should be...according to the numbers.
Weren't you the one calling the Rockets a developmental team and couldn't believe the Blazers split games with them?
At the same time, every year the team loses some it shouldn't lose, and wins some it shouldn't win. So hopefully that will end up to be a wash. If it ends up like last year, with us getting a bad matchup in the playoffs, a lot of people will look back at that and say "I told you so." But if we get a good matchup, I don't think most folks will care. If you actually look at what has happened over the last couple of decades, very few teams with home court advantage actually win all their games at home. Almost all of them have had to win on the road to get to the finals. So home court isn't super important, unless you can't win on the road, and even then it might not be enough.
12-7 is still 12-7. We also played the most games and least amounts of practice as well. We can go back and forth with this issue.
Another FYI. The NBA championships of last season lost to. Indiana, Sacramento, Charlotte X2, and Philly. And those teams all had some of the worst records in the league last season.
December will tell us alot more about the team then November did. December is just about the opposite of November. If Portland can continue to win at this clip during the next 30 days they are going be just fine. I am looking forward to seeing if Portland can continue to win against quality opponents.
It is very simple. If the Blazers respond within a few games of the big 3 having their meeting, then we are good to "grow". If the Blazers drop their next 5, and we have a whole team meeting, things are flat out screwed. When your team has a second team meeting, there is nothing in the 2nd meeting that shouldn't have been said in the first. If that doesn't fix it, it is time to make a move.
What would really suck is if we do drop our next five and nothing changes. Talk about "Moral Buster".
Yes that would. What is even worse is if management isn't on the same page, and doesn't do anything to address the situation.
Actually, that's what apparently Tiger Woods has recently encountered. Which, I'm pretty certain, has affected his overall morale, as well.
Thats ok. He has a ton of money, and apparently a lot of beutiful women to have sex with. So I hardly feel sorry for him.
