Going for 8th win in a row.

btw, with the emergence of Darren Collison, does Chris Paul become expendable? I can see the Hornets getting another all star + two solid role players for him.

Easy win for Lakers. No Paul and Peja for Hornets.

The most entertaining part of the game was watching the Hornets try to ruin the free tacos and Collison getting his shot blocked to end the game and keep the score at 99. The fans went nuts for free tacos.

Adam Morrison was a lot more aggressive with the basketball last night which could be a positive sign. Our bench is still playing without any discipline though. They took a 20 point lead and allowed the Hornets to get back within 8 points.

What's more disappointing was Derek Fisher spoke to everyone in the locker room about being respectful of the opportunity afforded and the importance of closing out games.

You could see Kobe, Gasol, and Fisher seething on the bench witnessing the lack of defense by the second unit.

Kobe said in his postgame interview with NBATV that the bench would have a hard ass next practice.

Perfect. Our bench has been the only negative to the great start this season. Most of them are in contract years too so they should be motivated to playing well.
