I would like to say Sheed - but he appears to be running on empty. That makes Zach the obvious choice.
Rasheed! He might not show up sometimes but dude totally has passion for the game. Cut the check baby.....lol
See, I thought it had to be an active player... If it could be ANY Blazer, past or present, it would be Pippen.
I presume you're joking, but I probably genuinely would pick Viktor Khryapa. He's become something of a star in Europe, an entrenched starter on one of the top 5 Euro teams, CSKA Moskow. Nate loved him when we had him, and now he's better!
I would go with Sheed. He is a knucklehead, but the dude is a "Team defense" type of guy. And surprisingly, his B-Ball IQ is really good. Also, he doesn't care about being in the spot light. Hell wouldn't even mind playing 10 minutes a game. I don't know if it's a good thing, but it would help get rid of some of the "I'm good and I need time and touches" bullshit.
Scottie Pippen. The reason is that this team is screaming for toughness and leadership. I would give my left nut for that on this team right now. Right now if the Blazers lose its like "Oh thats ok. We will figure it out." We need a guy where when the game starts going south, they refuse to lose, turn into a total lunatic, getting into players faces and get them to start performing.
Honestly, probably Khryapa. Randolph is the most talented, but I don't think he'd co-exist happily on our team as the 4th option off the bench. Sheed makes a lot of sense, but as much as I like the guy I'm tired of hearing on this board and in the Oregonian what a cancer he is, even though it's not true. James Jones I could maybe see too, except he's had a lot of injury problems. I'd like to add somebody who you could rely on to suit up. Khryapa gives you decent defense at SF and a three point shot, without any controversy. A poor man's Batum.
