Read more or die... Henry obviously won't miss the whole World Cup but I can see a maximum of five-game ban.
Also, if you read the end of the article, it looks like video-technology could be finally implemented into football. They are thinking about implementing it for the up-coming world cup but I get the feeling they don't have enough time. It's not as simple as setting up a couple of computers and sensors, I'm assuming. Anyways, it would be great to have that technology in the game, in my opinion. Sure there will still be mistakes made by the referees, but they will drop dramatically. No more "goals that never happened" or goals that happened that were never counted *cough* Arsenal *cough*. Talking about the last Arsenal game, do you think the game would of changed if Arsenal's incorrectly disallowed was counted? It would of put the scores at 2-1 and could of spurred a comeback but the team. I get the feeling it was, but I guess I'm still bitter. Fuck you, fuck the corporate world, and fuck Drogba. Thank you.
Fifa reject extra officials I thought I should put this here as it is mentioned in the previous article. I feel like this is a mistake by Fifa. More officials on the line will (shit, I can't think of the word...) stop (??? lol) players from committing blatant dives/handballs within the box. Meh.
Handballs happen in every game. Some are blatant, some aren't. They're actually talking about suspending a guy for the WC opening round? Outrageous. It will never happen. More blather from FIFA.
