Ben Gordan Game Time Decision Versus Former Team

CHICAGO -- Ben Gordon wants to play against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, but he still isn't sure if his body will allow him to do so.

Gordon, who has missed the past two games because of an ankle injury, is a game-time decision.

"I don't know," he said after the Pistons shootaround, when asked about his status for Wednesday's game. "I was able to do a little more today in shootaround than I was able to [Tuesday], so I'm just going to come back tonight and see how it feels. I'll see if I can make some game-time cuts and things like that and then go from there."

The former Bull admitted that walking into the United Center as a visitor was a little strange for him.

"It's different," he said. "I'm sure it will be exciting here tonight, but right now I'm just focused on trying to get healthy and see if I can play tonight."

If Gordon does play it will be the first time he has ever played against his former team. He was drafted by the Bulls in 2004 and played five seasons with the team. He signed with Pistons over the summer as a free agent and is averaging 19.8 points.
