Our #1 problem is Nate is over coaching the team.

Too many meetings, too much worry about roles.

IMO Nate is over coaching the team. He needs to lighten up and let them play. This team does not look like it's having fun. We're playing way too tight. Worrying way too much about who is getting what shots.

Yes need more practice time but Nate needs to take a step back. It's a long season.

I only saw one player who was having fun out there last night and that was Oden on a few possessions during the 4th qrt. when he was allowed to play.

Roy is way over thinking things. After every game I appreciate him telling us what he thinks and feels but come on, it's too much. Stop worrying about who gets what. You're the best player on the team. Everyone knows that. Dude, just go out and play.

This season is quickly becoming a grind and it's up to the coach to change it.

Agreed. Nate needs to stop the micromanaging and let his players just play.

Remember when Cheeks used to take the team out bowling whenever they were stuck in a rut? That always seemed to help them out.

Instead Nate has a serious meeting before the OKC game and whips out the "treat your teammates like they are your brothers" speech.

Great speech for right before the playoffs but way over kill for a early season road game against the Thunder.

Channing said it best when he said he's just happy to be in a system where it's back to "simple basketball"

Nate is in the tier of head coaches with Mo Cheeks, Byron Scott, Mike Brown; all are assistant coach material.

I am not a Nate fan but he is a far better coach then Cheeks.

Scott and Brown have both had way more success in their careers then Nate has in his. That may have something to do with the guys they coached but what evidence do we have that Nate would handled those rosters in the same way?
