Both actions were unnesesary. Good choice on the suspensions.

man, this is <Censored>. you can't suspend anyone in the playoffs unless it was really bad. i can maybe understand Haslem's, but Artest didn't deserve this. Stern needs to cut him some slack.

Okay, I read this in 4th period today. I was already in a <Censored> mood and this just made it a lot worse. What the <Censored> do they think they're doing? Manu hit him hard, by mistake in the begining, and he was just returning the favor. He shoul NOT be suspended for 1 little elbow. The only way you beat the Spurs is if you <Censored> play physical like them! If they reviewed all of Bowen's games he'd be suspended for his whole <Censored> career! Also, refs don't call fouls at the end of games so the don't affect the outcome but they just destroyed the King's only <Censored> chance at winning or taking this series anywhere. This <Censored> pisses me off. To hell with the <Censored> NBA>

What was Haslem thinking? He deserves the suspension and he did one of the dumbest things I have ever seen a player do..What an idiot.

I didnt see the Artest situation unfold and I havent seen a replay, but I support Stern 100% in the suspension of Haslem..I dont think you can argue that at all..I cant comment on the Artest suspension because I didnt see the play..

I agree with Haslem's suspension, although I do hate refs. Artest's was just an elbow. Popovich, that fag was just making a big deal out of it. And he says Artest elbowed Duncan but that was just a rebound. Artest was playing hard and they do this <Censored>.

Once again I didnt see the Artest play, but from what you guys are saying it seems like it was just a play that occured because of high tensions and hard play at a high level..He was probably frustrated by the way the game was going and his reputation with the league probably prompted the suspension moreso than if it was someone else..

It was hard to see the extent of Bowens elbow in the first minute of the game from the angle of the replays that i saw. It to me honestly didnt look that bad. I also didnt see the elbow that Ron threw to Manu. Im guessing it must have been bad to deserve a suspension but i agree with dogmatist. That might just cost Sac the season by suspending him.(even though they would lose anyways). As for Udonis....hes pretty dumb even though it wasnt that bad. Dumb but not that bad. Its a mouthpiece. Even if it did hit him, what would it do? The NBA just needed to give them fines and move on with it.

Its not a matter of what it would have done if it hit the ref, the fact is it was disrespectful and somethin he obviously shouldnt have been doing. I thought it was one of the dumbest things I have ever seen player do in a game..Just a blatant, dumb move..He deserves to get suspended..
