    Rock climbing is definitely a growing sport in the northwest. Disc golf is also pretty fun when the weather improves.

    I started playing disc golf a few years back. It's got a lot of the same things going for it as ball golf at a fraction of the cost. The greater Portland area has some outstanding courses too. Down in SF we don't have nearly the weather concerns... in fact I'll be going out to play the local course in Golden Gate Park under clear blue skies in a half hour or so.

    My other hobbies are pickup hoops, ultralight backpacking, biking, fly fishing, brewing beer, and reading.

    We have seasons here, unlike LA, so I ski in the winter and golf in the summer. So unfortunately, that makes masturbation my number one hobby.

    That statement is generally true, unless you are mediocre and there are a lot of blackberry bushes along the course. Oh wait that is half of the proper courses in Oregon. Luckily I'm not mediocre:ghoti:
