I'm playing a season with the Blazers. We're 16-10. I start Miller. He's averaging 22 assists per game. Blake actually just had a good game off the bench though. Anyway, I just loaded it up and the top headline is "Blake becoming frustrated with Trail Blazers." How hilarious is that??
I dropped a 40 assist game with Chris Paul. It's not that hard. Just keep feeding Greg Oden the fucking ball!
I had a 40 assist game with Chris Paul too! This weekend against my brother! As for how do I average 22 assists with Andre Miller... well first, I don't have him shoot. He only averages 6 ppg. I see him primarily as a ball handler and set up artist. He pushes the ball and gets the ball to anyone racing towards the basket, usually LMA (25 ppg) or Oden (30 ppg). If I can't get anything on the move, I call for a pick from either LMA or Oden. I dribble around, LMA or Oden roll to the hole and there's a wide open dunk. That is how Miller gets most of his assists. Like I said, I don't use him as a scorer. He's always looking to pass. Roy (24 ppg) averages 9 assists too. And we're 18-10 now. 4th in the West behind Lakers, Nuggets, & Spurs. On a 7 game win streak. The bad news is that we have been blown out by the Rockets three times (they always give me trouble because of Yao) and if we meet them in the playoffs (they're currently 5th), we could be screwed. The interesting news, though, is that since the last blowout loss to the Rockets, the Rockets have traded Tracy McGrady to Heat for Jermaine O'Neal. I think that favors us. We'll see in the 4th meeting of the season next month (I think it's next month). Also, on a side note, the Heat signed Iverson. My next game is against the new look Heat: Wade/Iverson/McGrady combo. Should be interesting....
Man they really fucked Oden up in this game, if you don't mess with the ratings or real rotation minutes he's lucky to average 6 points and 7 rebounds...
are you playing like 12 minute quarters? lol.. I play on 5 minute quarters on all star and I cant score at will like that, pick and rolls work but not everytime, anyway roy is my leading scorer with 12ppg, Andre avg like 6 assist per game, Oden is around 7ppg and 6rpg... I play short quarters so I can get through more games otherwise i lose interest... anyway im like 18 an 12 only play the top teams or teams in my division and I sim the rest.. been playing 2k basketball since 2k on the Dreamcast.. love it, lol... but if your getting those kind of numbers maybe time to bump the difficulty up? my nephew was playing Madden and was bragging that he was winning by 60 points(hes 9 playing on pro), lol... time to bump up the difficulty..
Sounds like you need to do a couple things. One, up the difficulty. You're probably playing on Pro if you're raking up points that easily with LMA and Oden. 2nd, adjust the sliders. NBA games are god awful if you play them on default sliders. I've adjust the hell out of my sliders and I barely crack 30ppg with Kobe. It's a nice challenge. I play on 9 minute quarters and usually end with relatively realistic scores, percentages, and just stats in general.
I play 12 minute quarters. I just played the Heat who only have one center. Some guy named Anthony. I kept giving the ball to Oden and he had like 20 points six minutes into the first quarter so I kept going to him and finished with 109 points! Now he's tied with Kevin Martin for league leader in scoring at 33 ppg.
Are you going to consider going up on the difficulty? Just wondering. If what you're doing now is more fun for you, more power to ya. Is 109 points the most you've scored with one guy?
How do you sit there for 48 minutes? I could score 300 points in a full 48 minute game. But it takes way to fucking long. I go 5 minutes and that's good enough for me. I don't need my players averaging like 87 PPG, 74 RPG and 34 APG.
In only 25 minutes a game? I mean, CLEARLY you aren't giving him more time than his NBA coach is, are you?
I mean when i sim games in association mode, he picks up 20 points and like 15 rebounds easily when i actually play
