He's going to miss 3 months according to Stein's Twitter: Warriors just confirmed that Raja Bell will miss a minimum of 3 months but IS expected back, possibly as early as March.

    So, don't expect any trades.

Chances are Bell won't be here next year, but it's too bad because not only is he a real solid, professional veteran player who also happens to work well in Nelson's system, but he's a true leader as well. I wish he could stick around and teach these young guys a few things. He's the type of veteran presence I like on this team, as opposed to the likes of Maggette and Jackson, who can be selfish or disruptive, or guys like Mikki Moore, Devean George, VladRad, etc. who are veterans, maybe nice guys, but just aren't very skilled and can't lead by example.

Update .. Spurs & Cavs in the mix

The Cavs could do the Wally deal with the Warriors.

Interesting that this comes out the day he has surgery that will keep him out for three months.

What would we even take back from these teams? They're not going to actually give us anything for Bell. Bell for Sczerbiak? I'd rather keep Bell even if he doesn't play all year.

BTW I read that Cartier Martin's stint in Europe is over and hes heading back to the D-League soon. Dude looked like a lock in the summer to get a training camp invite and probably a final roster spot on our club before he opted for Europe. Wouldn't mind picking him up since we're lacking swingmen.

We'd probably got Matt Bonner for him because of Nellie.

I wonder if Celtics would be interested.
