...I would have invited the entire team/staff (perhaps, even wives/kids) up to my house via Blazers One to watch the Civil War tonight. Either that, or take them bowling. In other words, me thinks it might behoove Management to employ a few team-building functions at this point of the season.
Roy would get upset that Oden was sitting in his favorite spot, and that Miller had 2 more kernals of popcorn than Blake.
It's not like a patient gets treatment all day, and with Paul's cash I'd not only be watching Blazer games but be doing some crazy ass shit.
What if the night ends up in a brawl, with steak knives used as weapons, and bowling pins used as clubs? Then what?
So, when they do the "trust" exercise, the one where the guy falls back and his co-workers are supposed to catch him, which Blazer would leave the biggest divot?
Well let's see how they stack up: Leader: Michael Scott vs. Coach McScribbles ---tossup? Young Gun w/ Too Small a Role: Ryan the Intern vs. Jerryd Bayless --- Ryan gets more airtime than Jerryd. Scrappy Veteran Hunter: Dwight Schrute vs. Joel Przybilla --- Gotta go with Dwight, b/c he got an Emmy nomination. (B)Romance everyone seems to know is wrong except for those involved: Jim/Karen vs. Roy/Blake --- Watching Karen walk into the Scranton office was a bit hurtful to watch. Kind of like a Blake fastbreak. (B)Romance everyone wants to happen: Jim/Pam vs. Roy/Miller --- This happened on the show....can we hope for the team?!?! Bigshot that doesn't seem to be taking charge as much as we'd like: Dave from Corporate vs. KP --- Dave, while dodging infinite lawsuits, didn't get LMA and Roy for the #4 pick, Telfair and Khryapa. But he should've fired Michael a long time ago. Pissed-off character whose competency is vitally needed to make the team run smoothly: Angela after Dwight killed her cat vs. Rudy after they trade Sergio and offer Turkoglu $50M -- Rudy has better hair, but Angela heads the party planning committee and had two men fight a duel over her. Tossup. New addition that brings a breath of fresh air: Kellie the Cute new secretary vs. Dante Cunningham --- Dante Scraps. 'Nuff said. Underrated character that doesn't get much face time, but knocks it out of the park just about every time: Darryl vs. Oden --- Oden, and not close. Guy who seems really nice, and would be solid if they actually had the skills for the job they have, but really is just hurtful to watch and should be getting less than 5 minutes per episode: Toby Flinderson vs. Blanky --- Blanky, but only b/c of Toby's aborted attempts to get Pam to marry him and Michael to like him. Character who got enhanced right before they got shipped off the program: Jan's "Twins" vs. Sergio's "new" 3pt shot --- Jan's not ranked #3 PG in the league right now, though the twins did seem nice. Calming veteran voice in the room: Stanley vs. Juwon Howard --- until yesterday this was Stanley's, hands-down. But it's gotten closer with every 14pt game Juwon pulls out of his orifices. I'd almost rather gouge my eyes out: Kelly Kapur talking about dating vs. Outlaw playing D. Outlaw, since I don't even hate Travis as much as Kelly. "Consistency Challenged" Role Player Andy vs. Webster. I'm constantly amazed at the talents Andy comes up with, coupled with the rage that's always brewing just underneath. Webster scored 24 in a quarter once. But even though I heart Martell, it's Andy on this one. Final score: Blazers win 7-6 with two ties. Closer than I thought it'd be.
