    Hell yeah!

I have a feeling Drew would be much higher on that list if he would've been healthy last year.

O'Neal being ahead of Drew and Gasol bugs me, especially being THAT far ahead of Drew. At this point in their careers, Bynum is the better player, at least in my book. And I have no idea how Pau Gasol is lower than him. That boggles my mind.

In general, it's a pretty crappy list. Shaq isn't a top 20 player. Neither is Brandon Roy or Yao Ming in my book. There's a whole bunch of other issues with this list, but I won't bother, because I'm sure someone else will mention them. If not, maybe I'll rant later.

that list is absolute garbage. yao and tmac have no business being there. pierce, shaq, kidd, artest, baron davis, horford, nene, battier, brand, and villanueva are all way too high(and i'm sure i missed others). half those guys don't belong on the list at all. and yes, kobe is at the very least two spots too high but the list has much bigger problems than that.

I agree that this list is terrible, but who would you put ahead of kobe? and why

i'm assuming you know the answer to your questions. lebron obviously is the best player in the league. and kobe is the 2nd best sg in the league.

Kobe is still better than Wade and LeBron. I'd give my thoughts, but I have to go to work, so maybe later.

Wade is off to a real slow start and he was injured in 07-08. Kobe has the best stretch during that time.

I don't think Kobe gets enough cred for being as good as he is. I don't think we'll see a ton of drop-off from him as he enters his mid-30's. He modeled himself after Jordan, and MJ was still money well into his mid-30's.

I'm not so convinced that LeBron will be as good when he gets older. So much of his game is based on athleticism and strength. What will he do when he's older and he can't blow by people or overpower them?

Speaking of Wade anyone watch the Nuggets game last night? This guy still gets so many favorable calls it's ridiculous.

i don't think it's really necessary to argue this. it's happened enough times in the past.

Disagree, I think we should all write a 100 page thesis paper on this subject.

Send it to me before Christmas eve, then I'll decide the winner.

I'm glad there are people still out there who question Kobe's #1 title.

You people, however, are the minority.

I wish I could agree with you, but I think it's right close to a 50/50 split. I think LeBron has far more supporters then you give him credit for. I still think Kobe is the best in the NBA, but there's about as many people with that opinion as there are in LeBron's corner.

So...still the 2nd best SG in the NBA?

I know one game doesn't really make a difference, but he came through in the clutch tonight, and in my book, proved that he's still ahead of D-Whistle. He didn't crumble under the pressure, while Wade bricked a HUGE FT that would have made the trey merely send it to OT.

But...I don't get how you can put Wade ahead of him. Kobe has a much more polished offensive game, he can get to the hoop whenever he wants to, he's got on the best jumpers in the NBA, he's got the best mid-range game in the NBA, and he's an All NBA defensive player, whereas Wade is still, at best, a mediocre defender. Until Wade develops a consistent jump shot from mid-range and develops in to at least a solid defensive player, Kobe will still be ahead of him.

Kobe is better right now. LeBron still has a lot of work if he wants to be mentioned with the greats.
