Oden is WET! I know it's just in practice with no defenders, but he gets that shot open a lot. I would like to see him take it more. Przybilla was also surprisingly good at that bank shot.. Good to see Pendergraph going through all the drills.
For a second I thought that read: "Video of Oden, Przybilla and Pendergraph shouting at practice" And I thought.... great.
That is fricking crazy. Oden only missed once. I knew he had a much better touch than folks have been giving him credit for, because when I was watching high school footage he hit jumpers in it quite often. But that was sick. Nothing but net over and over. He only missed the very last shot.
I know, and its not like he has to be set for a long time before the shot. He was moving into the spot from all angles and shoots quick.
I find it quite interesting because earlier this year, Chris Webber was asked if he could coach one guy who would he coach. He answered Greg Oden. He said if he could help Greg establish a face up game, he would be completely unstoppable. Then coincidentally, Juwan Howard is brought on as a big man to help teach our bigs and play backup. Hmmmmm....
Actually Billy Bayno worked all summer with Oden in Columbus on his face-up game. Howard was brought in to be fill the role of "Sage old veteran"
