What? No. Like I said, a year back he hardly got any looks from Nash. He used his athleticism and ovefr all skill to get points off rebounds, post ups and from driving into the lane. He got some alley oops from Nash but not that many. Its not that he relies on Nash. Thats just how the Suns offesne works. Everyone relies on each other to give eachother looks if that makes sense. Thats how a fastbreak offense works.
I'm sorry, why are you still talking about Marion last year?Your argument lost all its validity when you said Marion scores off post ups. And he hardly gets any points off of offensive rebounds. only 3% of his shot attempts come from that. The rest of the team's FGM are only about 50% assisted.
Before the playoffs I would pick Marion but Artest has badly outplayed Marion in the playoffs. I'd still pick Marion but it is very close.
Marion is a freeloader and very good at it. Artest can score all around better than marion.. besides dunking
I was talking about last year to show you that Marion has the skill to score on his own. Duh.If he were in another system he would still be scoring 20 ppg.
The reason Artest shoots a low percentage is because he was brought into a new intricate offensive system
Marion because he's a better shotblocker and rebounder, and because he's not weird like Artest. Artest can make you the 2 seed then a 7 seed
Marion. Better scorer, better rebounder, better shotblocker and help defender, and more versatile. Artest is fantastic as well, this was pretty close, but edge goes to Marion.
