Right. Let's get back to slagging on players, coaches, other posters and bitching and moaning.

    Assclown strikes again.

    1. (Long pause) We have him now. Wow, way to endorse YOUR signing. Nate has come out and said that he wanted Miller.

    2. But what I try doing is try to put him in situations to make, to help him, so he can help us. Maybe Nate should just let the guy play? It's not like Miller hasn't been a very good PG throughout his career.

Yeah....you can be shy and hot at the same time, though. It's not a bad combination--keeps guys from hitting on her.

I know that part really got me. It's like he's talking about a rookie and he's is just trying to put him in a situation where he can succeed. Jeez.

something is odd about this interview. I thought nate was the one who really pushed to pick up miller after they (nate. prichard and miller) had dinner one night during summer league? I am not sure why nate picked this interview to express these thoughts.

I think what needs to happen is KP needs to put an end to all media discussion. McMillan pulled a Roy with this interview. I find it BS. You wanted him Nate. You figure out how to get through to him and use him appropriately.

BTW, what happened to our vetting process in the Miller signing? Did we just throw it all out the window?

    Basic honesty.

Admired by some people. Condemmed by Shooter. :sigh:

And when you have a guy who's as quiet as Andre is, it slows it down even more. Just because the guy's learning what to say, when to say it. And he's just an introverted guy. He's probably one of the quietest guys I've seen.

    Andre = stoner? :dunno:

That would explain the varied attitudes toward him from the players.

    So,

Do you think that Nate is just a full-on "JOCK" at heart (dude has lived in locker rooms most his life), and can't mentally grasp a personality like Dre - and this thus explains his obvious (to most fans anywho) misuse of him?

Maybe. I don't really know. But what does seem pretty apparent is that there is a fairly wide gulf between the two of them ... and when a coach and point guard don't have a good line of communication or trust between them that's a problem in my opinion -- who is at fault is mostly immaterial to me.

But it seems like he has trusted him, at least in the mention of letting him call the plays, etc.

I can't tell if Nate is recognizing that others on the team can't relate to Miller, or admitting that he cannot.

Emotional intelligence doesn't come easily to many people, so it could be either (or both).

For one game. The rest of the time he's talked about Miller leading this elusive and ill-defined "second unit." Ergo, "you've got about five to ten minutes to go wild and do things your way, after that give Brandon the ball and let me call the plays"

Don't waffle now, Ed. This place excels on reading between the lines to derive intent. Without that, this board has no meaning. Put yourself out there. Which is it, and does Nate have a low "emotional intelligence" that is hindering this team?

Well, it's was still an "either/or" question. Let's dive deep into the latest round of phychological analysis based on a print interview.
