I just changed internet providers and it worked fine before I got wireless. But now, no videos play UNLESS i keep resetting safari and emptying my cache. And then, after 10 minutes or so, I go back on youtube (or other video sites like veoh, metacafe, etc.) and it fails to load or says that safari cant open the page. I don't want to keep resetting safari every 10 minutes if i wanna go on youtube. Anyone?
i downloaded firefox and the same sites work, but youtube videos still don't show up, and the website fails to load.
Well I have no idea what to tell you. It could be your service provider. I would Google the issue to see what comes up. There could be a firewall or something crazy up, ya never know.
Dunno about Macintosh, but my guess is that you installed some software for your new ISP that messed up the flash player you already had installed. You might try google to see if someone else had the problem and if they posted a solution.
I had the same problem with my Macbook. Go to Disk Utility. "Repair disk permission". If that doesn't work. "Repair disk". If you can't click that, load your mac os x disc and go into disk utility there.
yeah, i repaired disk persmission and it showed a lot of problems with my flash player. I can't click repair dis and i've loaded my mac os x disk. How do i go into disk utility?
they said since i've had mine for over the manufacturer's warranty, i have to pay a fucking 500$. ridiculous.
Have you checked your plug-in settings? You might need to turn it on. Settings > Safari > Plug Ins is ON.
