@ United Center, Chicago, IL 8 pm, ET December 5, 2009 Projected Starters D. Rose J. Salmons L. Deng T. Gibson J. Noah Key Reserves B. Miler J. Calderon D. Derozan H. Turkoglu C. Bosh A. Bargnani Key Reserves A. Johnson, J. Jack Key Matchup vs. Game Notes Both teams coming of a game last night so there should be no excuses for this one. Also Hinrich is not playing which is a positive, because as good as he is, Rose can be a real Calderon on the defensive end. Bosh may be tired from yesterday's game and will likely not be able to play like he did yesterday so its up to Bargnani to step up this game. Hopefully that team meeting yesterday will help the Raptors bring a consistent effort for two whole games. Girl of the Game
i wonder how turk is going to respond on the second night of a back to back. this season he's been atrocious on those dreaded second nights, maybe his 30 year old legs are catching up to him. however, in his defense- the entire team hasnt showed on most back to backs, save amir johnson. notes -taj gibson played heavy minutes last night and their frontline is depleted with the thomas injury so i hope the raps attack this kid
man I hope they show up, it would be nice to see the raps to win two in a row for the first time in a while.
If they were to win a back-to-back, this'd be the game. They match up decently against the Bulls and as deception pointed out in the last game thread, Chicago's coming off a game too.
DeRozan's shown a lot more composure and awareness the past couple games. Two absolutely nasty dunks by him so far.
Playing the Bulls is good for what ails your team. I'm just glad the Nets finally won a game so their first wouldn't come against us next game.
the bulls looked like a disheartened team and i think a lot of it has to do with derrick rose. i think management thought he was going to have an all star year but his injuries woes have set him back. and it was too bad that noah got thrown out of the game because he's one of my favourite players with his all out hustle and sexy arse girlfriend. notes... -nothing went right for the bulls- the refs werent giving them any calls, they were depleted with the two injuries and noah's ejection and they missed a lot of wide open looks -the raptors defense at times was awesome (particularly in the first quarter) but i thought it was mostly them than us tonight in terms of their poor offensive output
the raptor commentators had a big laugh over it and raptor message boards are saying that he punked the bulls but what i found hilarious is that no bull player decided to go for the steal or crowd him at the very least.
