Oden getting injured in game 1 destroyed me. I wouldn't call it "blessed". Then Martell out for the year.

I termed "frail blazers" last year. Just continues. :(

Isn't pendergraph gonna be able to play soon? I don't want to see Juwan getting rotation minutes

It really is getting out of hand at this point. If Roy goes down.... well, the bridge will be waiting.

    Nate doesn't count...

A roster of 15. I count 7 injured. All at once and that leaves just 8 to suit up to play games.

So, are we forced to trade for some useful bodies?

Yes. Miller will be traded for a forward. Bayless will emerge as a 10+ scorer for us.

Who knows. My guess is that you take your lumps rather than trying to make trades, sacrificing longer term goals just to fill holes. Pendergraph and Mills will supposedly be available as warm bodies in another month or so, so maybe you just wait until they can actually play before you start to try and fill holes.

Bottom line, this team is probably just going to have to play small and play everybody they have and hope for the best. However, one more major injury and KP will probably have to ship a guy (hurt or not) for a live body.

The tough part is who wants to trade for injured players? We can't trade our healthy ones for other healthy players.

Blake and Outlaw are 2010 expirings. Someone will want them. Hopefully, they will give up a serviceable player. (Bass please)

This is the first thing I have agreed without you in months. I'm sure you don't care but I do think Bayless will get his chance or be traded.
