These types of things are what make me think this franchise will never win another title while I am alive.
As soon as I saw him go down, I knew it was serious. Rarely did I cheer the rest of the game..it was meaningless, our most important piece was done for the year. Not even Brandon's heroics could cheer me up tonight.
Obviously I feel much more worse for Greg than my fandom, but I still get the feeling we are a cursed franchise to some extent.
I hope we gut out the rest of the season into a playoff birth, but this one is going to linger for a while.
Sending my thoughts and prayers out to the big fella tonight...he doesn't deserve this :(

That's funny I'm hoping we pull a New Jersey, tank horribly and battle for John Wall. Fuck this season.

Edit: Yes and best wishes to poor Oden. My god I feel for that guy.

I have to honestly start to wonder if One Center Court isn't built on an ancient Indian burial ground. It's time to call out the shamans, priests, rabbis, clerics, kahunas, witch doctors and whoever else we can lay a hand to and have ourselves a proper exorcism. Either that or raze it to the ground and move the arena.

He was by far the most exciting player on the team.

*Roy has been a pout bag about Miller
    *Aldridge has been extremely underachieving
    *Blake, ugh... is a starter
    *Miller doesn't fit
*Webster is as inconsistent as ever
*Rudy has lingering back issues and hasn't been the player he was last year. Not even close.
*Outlaw, Batum, two important rotation players are out for the year.

Greg was THE bright spot of this season and now that's gone. But, hopefully KP will work his magic and pull off an amazing trade to keep our playoff hopes alive.

To see so many injuries so far this season to have it topped off by the one guy I was really hoping was going to come out and show everyone why we drafted him #1 makes me quiet depressed. I'm not giving up on the season in any regard but atm it just doesn't have the same glimmer it did before batum was injured.

Roy will lift your spirits. He just had his best game of the season and he will have more. Plus, LMA will now get more touches and get into a comfort zone. Miller will be traded and we will get a much needed forward for him. Roy and Blake will both improve with Miller gone. Bayless will emerge as a hero. Stay tuned.... There's still a lot to be excited about. We're only 1 game behind Dallas for home court advantage in the first round.

Is doing this making you feel superior? So when the team starts winning, you can call them out and say I told you so? Coming from the same person who said our season was lost after the second game? The same person who doesn't reply to posts in where he himself is called out on?

I'm a Blazer fan but I hold nothing against the people who decide to "jump ship" at this point.

Why did you "jump ship" after the Denver game? We don't need you trolling tonight, too. Be better than that. :)

I always replay to posts in which I'm "called out on" as best I can (re: this post). I can't scour the entire board 24/7 but I respond to stuff as best I can. I'm glad to hear that you're optimistic too (re:
    "when the team starts winning").

I do hold it against people if they jump ship right now. Even with all our injuries, we still have a ton of talent on this team. Roy is capable of being a top 5 player in this league. LMA's talent still hasn't been entirely tapped. Our two best players are still healthy and, in their 4th season, ready to make the next step. If you walk away from the team because of this setback, don't come back when we're winning in the playoffs.

I will never stop watching this team play. I will never purposefully miss watching a game. I will never not cheer my heart out for this team. I would expect the same out of any true Blazer fan.

Nope, generally you are easily identified as a contrarian.

Optimist is not a word to describe someone who says that stuff \/ \/ \/

    I propose we have an S2 Death-Match.

    Blue corner = Kingspeed.

And in the Red corner = PapaG.

Two posters that can oppose/contradict any post ever typed up. Just let them disagree back and forth until their fingers bleed. I'd even cough up for the Pay-Per-View!
