Greg will likely miss the rest of the season, but a broken kneecap isn't something that's going to threaten his career. Obviously, this is a major blow to what most of us hoped would be a great season this year, but I don't see it as something that's going to impact the team's future other than to delay Greg's development.

No one's jumping off the ship. *roll*

Stepping back and evaluating the situation is not jumping off the ship.

Two weeks ago I said I was this close to being done with blazer basketball. Well, I think I'm ready to be done with it.

How effin convenient for Brandon Roy, Nate McMillan and Kevin Pritchard. Back to good ol isolation basketball. Just the way Brandon Roy likes it. No more broken brain cells for Nate McMillan trying to put together a game plan that works for everyone. No more hot under the collar moments for KP. He has an out. They all have an out now.

Yep, life just got easier for all three of them.

    And I think I'm done.

I don't think we can say anything about threatening severe damage to his career until post surgery. The potential for ligament damage is obviously a crappy possibility hanging out there until they cut and get a look at everything...

I don't usually comment on posters, but is anyone else getting tired of Royisclutch7 saying "I think I'm done"; how many times has he said it now? Reminding me of Brett Favre!

You said you weren't gonna watch the team anymore. Once we win 10 in a row though, I bet you come back if there's still room for you.

You: "Maybe I just need to step back for a month and come back refreshed."

That's jumping ship. The coaches and players don't get to "step back" like you. They have to show up and work hard to win games. Too bad you'll give up for a month.

    Your timing stinks.

This is not the time to be getting self-righteous on people who are justifiably upset and depressed. You may think you look impressive up on that high horse, but from down here, all anybody sees is a horse's ass. :tsktsk:

Just like how our season was over after two games, right? Amirite? I find this hilarious coming from you of all people.

Jumping ship is giving up on the team. I'm not giving up on the team. I just need to find a way to not get so upset every time this team faces a major loss.

Can we push people off the ship? Or make them walk the plank?

Man... people are pretty f'ing depressed over what happened. Give people a little break here. I know you don't like Oden and all, but many think he was a big reason for whether we'd make a championship run or not.

I am really really bummed about oden, but I am a Blazer fan for life! I do not talk blazers and read blazers because of Greg Oden, I do it because I love the city of portland and I Love there basketball team the Trailblazers if they win or lose. Anybody else go fuck yourself:pimp:
