Im thinking... HELL YES. Oden wont be ready for training camp. I would think this is a must for KP come July.

I've always said I'd like to see him retire here. He can start or come off the bench and will be a decent center for a few more years. He's a good influence and a team guy.

Yeah, I think signing Przybilla will be of the utmost importance. However, will Paul Allen want to go over the luxury tax for a team that is not contending anytime soon? Joel will probably get some nice offers this summer.

Przy made himself a lot of money last night. I'm sure it didn't happen in the way he hoped it would, however.

OTOH, Greg lost a lot of money last night. He was looking like a max player and now I think KP will give him an extension out of respect and not for his play.

It's no lock that Pryz is going to opt out and leave over 7 million on the table. Let's see his numbers over the rest of the season before we worry about the summer. I have a feeling he's only going to garner the MLE if he tries to opt out.

No max extension for Oden means no luxury tax ... yet. Even with Brandon and Lamarcus getting their extensions the loss of 9 million from Miles coming off the books, plus Blake and Travis' deals expiring pretty much off-sets any increases LMA and Roy were going to see, which leaves at just over the soft cap number. My guess is that Oden will get offered a 3 or 4 year partially guaranteed extension for somewhere in the neighborhood of the MLE tops, and I doubt anybody else around the league would give him anything better.
