By that chart, the Lakers have a .4% chance of missing the playoffs, meaning Cleveland, Boston, Orlando, and Atlanta have a better chance of making the playoffs than the Lakers. Also the Celtics are guaranteed to win their division, but the Lakers have a better chance at winning the #1 seed and making the Finals than the Celtics do. @.@
If Oklahoma City stays healthy and plays well, we could very well be on the outside looking in. It would be a massive disappointment, obviously, and one that I would not have thought likely, but with this many injuries it definitely could happen. Ed O.
Not the way we're playing right now. We'll figure out how to play without these guys and I think we'll see some people step up their game. I'm optimistic.
Me too. We're not going to play like this all season. Everybody is in a funk right now. I've never seen an entire team have a year long slump. We have to get healthy though. Speaking of . . . did anybody see Roy get undercut & come down straight-legged on the alley oop last night? That would have been a scary play under any circumstances, but the way things are going I almost had a heart attack. I thought it was ACL tear when he landed. So glad to see him okay.
I have them now at a 7th or 8th seed at this point, We need some quality wins against western conference teams.
Ya, this place kinda bums me out lately. The team is struggling big time, I know it, everybody knows it. Don't like really being reminded about it 24/7. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere though.
Just go sleep with some of the other posters wives for a while. That will keep them off topic for a while until things turn around!
Keeping the players from running screaming from this franchise will be the tough thing. Let's hope nobody's superstitious...
I don't think so DaRizzle. I think you are looking at maybe OKC. What is dangerous is any team with a couple of good scorers can always get lucky. What you are fortunate for is, that they no longer are best of 5, so usually the best team does win. Usually...
Is it too much to expect that their ridiculous salaries could be motivation enough? I keep showing up at the office for much less.
