OH I'm not saying he didn't deserve it man, I said he did.All I said was that Nash was doing the same thing in Dallas, but was overlooked because of Fin and Dirk.I think Nash deserved it more this year than last year that's for sure.
Ok I will get over this subject but there are plenty of others that to me were more deserving. Not that Nash wasn't great is that the other players were better.
i can't really complain about nash winning it, but i think if anyone can complain it woudl be lebron. he posted amazing numbers, led the cavs to the playoffs, and did it without their prize free agent (hughes) for most of the year. Forget about this season for the cavs, but where would their franchise be without him?

You have to realize that John Stockton played during the time of Karl Malone, Hakeem, Magic, Larry Bird, and Michael Jordan. Of course he isnt going to have a MVP. I really dont think Payton or Kidd ever deserved a MVP award. They were good, but i dont think they were "MVP" material. I agree on the Kobe on though. I think Kobe should of one this year. Can you think of one big game that Nash had this season?? i can think of 2 right off the top of my head for Kobe.
Just because Kobe exploded in a few games doesn't really give him the edge or anything...I don't care as long as your consistant.
As everyone knows I'm not a Kobe fan but I think he deserves this MVP more than Nash does. It shouldn't be that big of a deal and for some reason people keep bringing up this topic over and over. This Lakers vs. Suns series will show a lot on who is better and so far it is a tie.

He averages 35 points per game for the entire season  Hey BCB:http://www.bball-world.net/index.php?showtopic=3120
All i'm saying is that bringing up the fact that he had two statment games doesn't really sway my opinion. I don't care if Nash scores 81 points in two games or not. I am still against Nash I just don't want thr argument to get to silly against him (and we have enough against him as it is).
BCB, all your hating on Nash is becoming increasingly ignorant and tiresome. Also, to all those who said the reason Kobe shoots so much is because it's the only way his team can win, I want you guys to now apologize to me. He averages 43 PPG against Phoenix during the regular season, and the Lakers lose 4 games by an average of 13.5 points. Kobe comes out the last two games and scores 29 and 22 points respectively, and they lose by only 5 and win against Phoenix. Kobe was as unselfish as I've seen him last night, and the box score showed
BCB doesnt know what hes talking about. He just doesnt like him because he is a white Canadian who is not freakishly athletic. Why shouldnt he have won MVP BCB? Please explain yourself if you are going to rant on about something.
Look at the list of previous MVP winners. Two are out of place, Nash and Dave Cowens. The fact that he now has 2 awards, more than f*cking Shaq is absurd.
You guys realize it's the 2004-2005 MVP and 2005-2006 MVP? It's not the All-Time MVP. In 2004-2005, it was between Shaq and Nash. Nash led his team to a bigger win differential, averaged 19 and 11. Shaq had better stats, but wasn't as valuable on his team as Shaq.In 2005-2006, it was between Nash, Kobe, and LeBron. Again, Nash simply led his team to a better record than those guys, and had solid stats to back it up.Again, it's simply your definition of MVP, and since 1982, the general consensus between fans and voters has been : The player who means the most to a winning team

LeBron is scoring 30 ppg, and he's the primary playmaker on the team. That entire team completely revolves around him. Carmelo is one-dimensional. He has more talent around him than LeBron.
