Sign-and-trade Bosh to Atlanta for Josh Smith and a first rounder, if anything.

id take beasley over josh smith. josh smith is a highly paid energy player with zero perimeter skills. sure he will block shots, get some rebounds, get some dunks on fast breaks but so does amir johnson. to put it in perspective- amir johnson is a poor mans josh smith. some ppl compare josh smith to gerald wallace but wallace actually has some perimeter skills and his handles are far superior.

Actually, this year, Josh Smith has done an excellent job with his man-to-man D, and (thank god) he longer takes a bunch of 3s a game. Aside from his FT%, he's been damn efficient. And Amir Johnson doesn't hold a candle to Josh Smith. To be honest though, i'd MUCH rather trade bosh for Al Horford + first rounder but i'm not sure they'll bite on that.

hence, poor mans josh smith. josh smith creates better for his teammates but he's still incredibly limited offensively in the halfcourt. and when his athleticism diminishes, what does he have left? nothing.
