No the toronto loss was the bad one. This one looked like a team that was missing players, but still tried. VDN will get fired if they lose like they did to Toronto again. And they'll do it right before Hinrich and Tyrus come back if they can't move him.

Can I blame Salmons for this loss? Why the hell did he jack up a contested three with over 7 seconds left on the clock? A better question is why the hell did they take the ball out of Rose's hands? He was having a phenomenal 4th quarter and was getting whatever he wanted going to the hoop. You put the ball in his hands and let him create. You don't give the ball to Salmons and let him jack up a horrible, stupid ass, contested three pointer with that much time left on the clock. With 1 or 2 seconds? Sure. Not with 7 seconds though.

Thats how its been all season, giving the ball for Deng and Salmons to create when Rose is CLEARLY the better choice.

    They needed 3 points. Rose isn't a 3pt shooter.

They still had time to score 2 and foul. I think there was like 10 seconds when salmons took the shot

The Nets were smart and committed a 2 shot foul on the previous play. That's the risk of not taking the 3pt shot when there's the best chance. If Salmons was fouled in the act of shooting the 3, it's 3 FTs and a chance to tie.

If someone drew a two shot foul, they'd have to miss the 2nd FT and hope for a tip in or offensive board with enough time to get off a 2.
