People use this place to vent, bitch and moan over something that's supposed to be fun. Too often, fans don't see how lucky we are as a fan base. Great players, a great owner and a winning tradition.
Absolutely I do, especially this season. The forum as a whole is a lot ruder and generally unpleasant. But there's nowhere else to go to see posts from people I know and respect, too. I just end up filtering a lot out. Though I've always tried keeping my ignore list pruned way down in the past, this season, for my sanity, I've let it grow wild. It works pretty well, too, because a lot of the worst threads have the same participants. You know you're ignoring the right people when you click on a thread with an unappetizing title, and see five or six straight posts from users you've ignored.
Talk about an odd last straw. Mine was when Nate said the players would decide who played then did the exact opposite. Whatever shread of respect I had for the man died in the last month when he has repeatedly thrown his own team under the bus. "Needs to be more scrappy" = "It's not my fault". George Karl would be so proud.
