Miller and Roy are both pretty good at it too but I get your point; the guy gets to the line at an insane rate. The fact that he's starting to hit his mid-range jumpers more consistently is huge, because defenders are going to have a hard time sagging off of him and setting up to take the charge (which Bayless is wont to do). If nothing else, I'm glad Jerryd is going to get extended run; the team should have a decent idea of how he fits in by the end of this year -- presuming he doesn't get his wish to be traded.
Well sure, but I'm willing to cut Dean and Monty a little slack. Who knows, maybe Brandon is hurting a little bit (wouldn't that be special )
Yah, really liking what I am seeing from Bayless; at least he doesn't fuck around with the ball late in the shot clock. Blake is doing that almost everytime he's touching the ball, its ugly. Really liking Howard fighting. Liking Aldridge's effort out there. Webs really needs to figure out his shot, it's so odd....I dont know how a pure shooter misses so much. Roy's just marinating.... Dre is dre....is dre.... Basically I love the game so far, just hope we see a Bayless/Roy backcourt here soon And less Kingspeed B/S about Blake would be awesome (go to the damn game already!)
No, I'm sure it was for fouls. Once Brandon got his second, they called him back. *roll* Oh, and I feel like Blake is morphing into Serdribble Rodribble this season.
When Rudy comes back I'd still give all the minutes to Bayless. IMO it's clear who the better player is.
Blake is playing "crafty" more than solid defense, but man, if he can't hit a shot it sure makes it tough to watch him out there.
The one last year could've been really ugly too, but the Cavs came out flat and the Blazers took it to overtime.
We were missing LMA and maybe Batum if I remember correctly. Let's hope they come out way more flat than last year...
