    Do anything you can to kiss the refs asses Pop! Brilliant though. I can see it now during a Spurs timeout. "Come on guys, I defended you in the media. Hook me up with some calls."

    Like he would leave the game lol all the money? Ya right. It is amazing how stupid and naive some people are about things.

    Popovich is a smart guy, even if he did believe Donaghy's claims he would make a statement like this.

    He says he'd quit if he didn't have any control on the outcome. Of course he has some control on the outcome. No body said the outcomes and the play on the court were pre-ordained. Just sometimes some teams in some circumstances get some help. And face it, Pop is as good as they come at getting the refs to help his team. I'd say he has some control. Nothing to worry about here. Please coach the Blazers Pop. You're our best hope.

    Faint praise coming from one of the most constant critics of calls during games.

    Popovich = Drama Queen

    Says the guy who sent Robert Horry to hip check the Suns out of the playoffs. No one plays lawyer ball better than the Spurs.

    Wouldn't it be nice if the media had 50% pro-Stern and 50% anti-Stern, instead of 100% pro? Or even 5% anti? The only anti I ever read is on message boards. Nothing in the universe is so 1-sided, and when you see this phenomenon for some issue, you know you're not hearing the whole truth, even if you're brand new to whatever issue it is.

    Then he should put his money where his mouth is, and request that the NBA give him all their investigative results for him to peruse before he mulls his retirement. :devilwink:
