Tracy McGrady's popularity is really something else. How can a guy that sucks like hell be so popular? I refuse to believe it's the Chinese vote thanks to Yao, because then Yao would be running away with the center vote despite also not having played a single game.

TMac also did a lot of promoting of himself in China the past few years.

I can't believe guys like Tmac are even put on the ballot. The league needs to fix that.

The problem is the fact that there's already an all star ballot out this early. I swear they released it after the first 2 games.

T-mac has no business on the ALL STAR BALLOT. If he's humble enough, he should decline playing in the ALL STAR GAME and give the spot to the next in line who has actually played the 1st half of the season.

I dont blame Tmac...Its the idiots who put his name on the ballot period that are at fault. It would be nice however, to see him be humble enough to "RESPECTFULLY" decline the offer and give it to the next in line that is more deserving.

Whats messed up is that Amare is listed at C, while Duncan is listed at PF... LOL The league just wants the best players to start... But i think the guys who vote the bench could easily put in Pau and Andrew if they think they deserve it... Which, coz of our record, they do.

He won't do it because of the respect for his fans. His fans want to see him out there - he's going to do it, if he can

McGrady was the first one to offer his starting spot over to Michael Jordan in Jordan's last year, as I recall. I think he'd happily skip the all-star game.

But the NBA will fix this. Just like last year, when all those Yi JianLian votes mysteriously disappeared, McGrady won't get voted in if he doesn't play like a star this year.

I now, but then you'd have to consider that he's itching to show the world that "he's back" (according to him LOL)
