I'll give AK-47 the edge. He can score, steal, block, rebound, and pass. Might get a quad double one day.
I will give this to Kirilenko. He is almost as good a defender as Artest but the difference is that he is the greater rebounder and the bigger threat inside, he is not a headcase and he has the same range as Arrest, err, Artest.
Offensivly its Artest. but overall Id go with Kirilenko as well. Unlike Artest, if AK47 has a bad game offensivly his team still wins because he can make up for his lack of points by blocking, rebounding, passing and just being a general nusence to the other teams offense.
AK is not a very good offensive player. If you watch him you know that he doesn't have much skill there at all. Alot of his scores are on putbacks or fast breaks. Easy scores.This is actually close in my eyes. If i'm a fantasy owner, of course i take Kirelenko. But he is not very dependable, as he gets injured and is inconsistent on offense. Ron Artest can do alot more on the offensive end, and while Kirelenko can get lots of blocks and steals, i give the defnsive edge to Ron. Kirelenko has shown ZERO ability to win. Ron Artest is arguably the best two-way player in the league. The only thing that brings ron down is his attitude. For now, i'm giving the edge to Artest.
AK has shown he can win. Look at Utahs record when he plays. they are something like 100-60 in the last 3 seasons when he plays. but like you said, he isn't very dependable because he gets injured all the time. also, this is really Artest first year showing he can win. previously his teams won because they were a good team before Artest played there(Indiana) or they just sucked because they had just lost 2 of the 50 greatest(Bulls) while Kirilenko also had the same thing, but he was able to lead the Jazz to a 42-40 record the season after the Jazz lost two of the top 50.
