I thought this deserved its own thread:

    http://nba.fanhouse.com/2009/12/06/determined-miller-doesnt-want-trade/

"People are reading a little too much into things, and the comments when coach (Nate McMillan) went to a three-guard lineup (from Nov. 6-20),'' Roy said. "I wanted to be a (shooting guard rather than a small forward) and people assumed that I wanted Blake to be the point and Andre out. And that wasn't the case at all, I didn't mind if Dre started or Blake. I wanted to be the (shooting guard)."

"Coach knew where I was standing, but people around with him felt that I didn't want to play with Andre. But that's not the case. I think in this locker room he's grown and we're getting to understand him even more.''

So Roy is saying he wants Miller to stick around, right?

"Yeah,'' Roy said. "I think he's a good player, especially with the guys we're losing. He can make plays for us and that's what we need right now.''

The only times Miller has started, Roy has played the 3.

Our idiotic coaching staff hasn't even tried a Miller/Roy back court.

    At the backdoor heh!

P.S. I'm sorry I couldn't help but respond to blake with a negative feeling. He has really regressed this year and I am starting to like Miller more and more with his aggressiveness towards the basket sometimes and his assists. Yes Miller needs to keep it cool on his 3pt attempts as he looks awful sometimes! He has impressed me lately however.

That's hilarious...the unfortunate thing is that it's SO TRUE! Why do our coaches think it's so important to have Blake on the floor that they'll play him out of position to do it?!

there is obviously only one thing we can do - we need to get sergio back and move to a 5 guard lineup. we have enough guards already, but, as everyone knows - for this to work we'll need people that have excelled in the system, know the plays, and have enjoyed past glory ie sergio sooooooooooooo goodbye LMA :)

    miller
    roy
    blake
    sergio
    bayless

    lets do this
